I typically like to read the New Yorker but their latest cover irritated me in a way that makes me lose some hope. If this kind of irreverent "satire" is what a "highbrow" magazine thinks is funny, I know that some local yokel in Indiana must really believe the Obamas are in cahoots w/Al Qaeda.

On a very personal and trivial level, I was so offended that Michelle Obama had to be given an Afro to be made into an "angry black woman." I swear; July 16, 2008 10:54 AM
